Bastar Art (Ganapati)

The Indian Lord of Auspiciousness and Good Beginnings, Ganapati is the Son of the Lord Siva and Goddess Durga. Prominent amongst the Tribal arts is the Bastar Art practiced by the tribals of the Bastar- region, India and is known the world over for their unique artifacts. Bastar is a district covered by forests. It is home to a large number of aboriginal clans. This art piece designed by Tribals is handmade in 100% bronze.
